Tests and demos
The only test NetEase has announced is an offline technical test in Hangzhou. Press and visitors have also played demos at Tokyo Game Show 2025 and gamescom 2026, but neither was a public download. A January 2026 China test was reported by media but never announced on NetEase's own news lists; see the last row.

When does Ananta come out?
Ananta launches worldwide on 15 January 2027. NetEase announced the date on 25 August 2026.
What time does Ananta launch?
The launch hour is not announced. The PlayStation Store shows 10:00 UTC (18:00 Beijing time) and App Store data shows 08:00 UTC (16:00 Beijing time), so only the date is reliable.
Is there a separate mainland China version or server?
Not announced. NetEase runs a Chinese official site and TapTap listing for the same 15 January 2027 launch, and says it obtained the China publishing licence, but has not described separate servers.
Which platforms is Ananta on?
PC through Steam and a standalone client, PS5, iOS and Android. Epic, Xbox and Switch are not announced.
Is Ananta free to play?
Yes. The game has no upfront price; in-game purchases are optional.
Can I play Ananta in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau?
These regions have their own iOS and Android store listings from Heart Core, and the official Traditional Chinese terms say the game is developed by NetEase and published by 脈動數位. PC and PS5 use the global Steam and PlayStation Store pages. Whether the server is shared with the global version is not announced.
Which languages and voice-overs does Ananta support, including Japanese and Traditional Chinese?
Steam lists 16 interface languages, including Japanese and Traditional Chinese. Full voice is flagged for English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Korean. A Traditional Chinese voice track is not announced; a marketing team interview mentions "Chinese voice" without saying which.
Is there a public beta or test I can join?
None is announced. The only official test was the Hangzhou offline test of January 2025. There is no test recruitment for Taiwan, Hong Kong or Macau, and the Japanese site only recruited Vanguards in December 2024, which raises the chance of future test qualification.
Who runs Ananta in Japan?
NetEase Interactive Entertainment Pte. Ltd. of Singapore, the seller of the Japanese App Store listing and the sender of the Japanese press release. We found no NetEase Japan entity.
What age rating does Ananta have?
